Here is a little hint of Spring! This was taken right after a beautiful down- pour. Even in our every day lives do we look over the little miracles that God has placed in this hopeless world.

Hey everyone. So here's my story. Basically, my dad just bought me a 1968 convertable VW bug, and my 2011 summer is most likely going to revolve around this thing. Now, don't get the wrong idea here. I'm not some spoiled teenager whose wish is my parents' command. No, my dad has told me from day 1 that I would have to work for my car. We planned that this summer, he would hire me at his work and let me earn the money to buy myself a decent first car, but being the amazing dad he is, he went ahead and bought me one anyway.
Here's the deal. I have to learn everything about this car. My weekends will be filled with research, going to auto part conventions, (whatever that is) and getting covered in oil and grease. After the car is fully restored, it will be my responsibility to pay for insurance, tune-ups, smog checks, everything.
So there it is. For the next 5 months this is going to be my day to day journey of the restoration of my first car. Definately something to remember. So buckle up!
